Laciny Bros., Inc., a custom fabrication company, is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our team.  Since 1916, Laciny Bros. has specialized in custom fabrication that demands creativity, precision, and quality craftsmanship.

The Operations Manager oversee all aspects of manufacturing; including, but not limited to the following tasks:

• Meet with engineering department to manage weekly priorities and assist in multi-disciplinary engineering tasks 
• Serve as a mentor for engineering department and assist in concept generation and technical execution, as required 
• Meet with shop department heads to manage weekly priorities and assist in multi-disciplinary fabrication tasks, as required 
• Serve as a mentor for fabrication floor, offering guidance, training and direction for all fabrication processes 
• Coordinate with engineering department/project managers and shop floor, to schedule weekly/monthly production 
• Develop new processes to improve labor allocation, task management and production timelines 
• Manage facilities and oversee building and equipment maintenance 
• Review engineering releases, oversee print packages, cut lists and material procurement 
• Review and release jobs to the shop floor for manufacturing 
• Assist machine shop in all machining activities including programming, fixturing and production
• Review and mentor machinists as needed, insuring proper tool paths, tooling management, proper run times and quality control 
• Assist in inspecting projects prior to shipping 
• Work with purchasing to ensure proper inventory and consumable control
